"In This, My Singing" is a collection of art songs composed by women. Compiled for my bachelor's degree recital, I recorded this album with collaborator Sarah Thune in an effort to make this music more accessible.  Linked here is "I Send My Heart Up to Thee" by Amy Beach. It comes from her cycle, "Three Browning Songs," one of my favorite pieces of art music, as well as the inspiration for this project. It contains the titular lyric- "I send my heart up to thee, all my heart/ In this my singing,". This line by Robert Browning perfectly encapsulates the purpose of this project; To honor the work of the women that came before me, paving a path for women like myself. I am eternally grateful for their work. 

Translated and arranged by Stephen Lusmamn, The Bohemians is an abbreviated, English version of Puccini's La Bohème. I had the pleasure of making my debut as Mimì in No Fly Productions' performance of this piece. Full production video coming soon!
